  • This eight-hour, 4-week course is intended to help intermediate Windows XP users learn how to maximize the potential of their Windows XP from setup to untapped features engineered into Windows XP to best advantage for the user. A 100+ page workbook/instruction book is included in the registration fee.
  • Intermediate skills, knowledge of the keyboard and mouse, typing skills, click and drag, some file and folder terminology as well as antivirus and spyware terminology is required.

Lesson One:

  • Setup steps in tailoring the PC to suit your needs
  • User account setup and editing
  • File management

Lesson Two:

  • Day-to-day operation of the PC
  • Contingencies for abnormal operation of the PC
  • Updating programs and drivers
  • Administrative management of the PC

Lesson Three:

  • Manage computer maintenance activities from Windows updates
  • Dust removal of the interior of the PC. We will actually open a PC
  • File backup options to lessen the impact of a total failure of the system
