PC Basics:

This course is intended for people who have very limited knowledge about a computer or who might be interested in purchasing one. It will prepare students to become comfortable working in the Windows environment and sharpen their mouse skills. Basic is a prerequisite or equivalent knowledge for enrolling in the "Introduction to PCs" courses.

Introduction to PCs:

This class is intended for people who have a basic understanding of their computer, have taken the basic class or feel comfortable using a mouse, turning the computer on and off. This is a 2-semester class, PC Intro 101 and PC Intro 102.

Word:

This course is intended for people who have some knowledge about a computer, can open and close a file, and want to improve their word processing skills. It will prepare students to become comfortable working in the Windows environment, sharpen their mouse skills, improve their letter writing, envelopes and word layouts. Basic or Intro to PC is a prerequisite or equivalent knowledge for enrolling in the Word courses.

Quicken:

This Quicken™ course will teach the student how to use Quicken and how to manage their finances. Topics covered include checkbook maintenance, portfolio management, investment tracking, and financial planning with tools.
