Create a Book Using Blurb BookSmart™ 1.9 (Three 2 ½ hour sessions)
Prerequisites:
Introductory skills, knowledge of the keyboard and mouse, typing skills, click and drag, some file and folder terminology. Advanced beginner to intermediate computer skills.
Must bring photos or images, as many as you like, to use in the book. Due to time constraints, no scanning will be available. Please bring the images on a flash drive or a CD.

Description::
This 3 day workshop will highlight your travel photos in an attractive book to give as gifts or even sell for your organization. Are your children grown with their own children? Get ready for the gift giving season, birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings. Document a family vacation or things you did as children. Your grandchildren will treasure a book of memories.
Learn how to: create your book; work with photos, text, and layouts; upload your book; and more. When finished you will have a hardbound book ready for publication.
This is NOT a beginner's class on the basics of the computer.
Goals:
- Create a full-bleed spread across 2 pages
- Determine the best resolution for images in book
- Select different page layouts, including your own, using Photoscape software
- Journal, make captions and or directions look attractive
- Make an attractive end flap or glossy cover
- Change fonts
- Add and remove pages
