Photo Camp for Grandparents and Kids (five 2½-hour sessions)
Prerequisites:
Basic mouse skills, opening and closing windows.
One grandchild bringing one grandparent.
Fee:
$75 for each computer or the fee for a computer for
one child plus a computer for the grandparent would be $100.
The fee for a computer for one child and no computer for the
grandparent would be $75.
Age Requirements:
Kids, 8-13 years old; Grandparent, any age interested.
To spend quality time with one grandchild while you both learn and share from each other, your family stories and traditions.
Description:
Scan and copy photos, art work, 3-D objects like trophies and
magazine articles so we can make a photo story of our adventures.
When finished, our show will be able to be played on an average
DVD player or a computer.
The digital photo show will have music and motion to accompany
our good, better and goofy pictures that we have fixed and embellished.
Kids can help Grandma or Grandpa make their show or vice versa.
Bring to class:
- Photos, articles, cards, anything you want to use to tell your story
- Bring your camera if you want to take more pictures
- Bring a CD with your favorite photos on them
- Need 35 to 45 photos
Treats, snacks, and giveaways are included in the program.

- Make a DVD photo show with music and motion
- Scan personal photos to our computer
- Enhance, morph, embellish, and have fun with photos
- Place them in our show
- Choose captions, fun motion and transitions
- Add music of your choice to the show
- Burn the show to a CD or DVD
- Have a grand show and party on Friday for all to see
