Multi-Media Movie Making II (2 hours)
Prerequisites:
You should have a basic knowledge of Windows, the keyboard, mouse usage, and some typing skills.
Fee:
$25 for Movie Making II or $40 for Movie Making I and II.
Description:
This seminar is more in-depth instruction on the concepts learned in Movie Making I. You will have hands-on practice to create a short multi-media show including video, photographs, graphics, transitions, music, and titles. (Sample videos and photographs are provided.) Windows XP Movie Maker is used in the training. This seminar will include combining video clips, photographs, and graphics with the addition of music, voice-overs, titles, and transitions to create an entertaining show that can be burned to a CD or DVD (not done in class due to time constraints) for viewing on a computer or TV entertainment center. An AVI or MPEG file is created in class. This seminar is a combination of lecture and student hands-on PC training.
This is NOT a beginner's class in the basic use of the computer.

Goals:
- Use the basic concept and procedure of using a video/photo editing program learned in Movie Making I
- Import sample video clips, photographs, graphics, music and voice-overs into the show
- Add and edit music to the show
- Add and edit titles to the show
- Create and add voice-overs to the show
- Add transitions from one visual segment to the next
- Understand the steps in creating a Video CD (VCD) or DVD
- Produce a short AVI or MPEG movie
