Multi Media Show with Pro Show Gold™ (5 hours)

Prerequisites:

Introductory skills, knowledge of the keyboard and mouse, typing skills, being familiar with a basic photo editing program, click and drag, some file and folder terminology.

Fee:

$30 for a 2-session class

Need to Bring to Class:

• Two blank CD-R disks for burning the final show
• 20 to 30 pictures either on a disk or actual prints for the show
• A CD with music of your choice to add to the show

Description:

This is a beginner/ intermediate class in creating and burning a picture slide show with music and transitions using your photos and music. It is called "multi media" because the show entails photos, music and movement in transitions. Pro Show Gold™ will be the software used. A trial version can be found at http://www.photodex.com to practice after the class is over.

This is NOT a beginner's class in the basics of the computer. Burning music and MP3 burning are taught in CD Burning, Audio, and Music. Must bring two CD-Rom disks to class or pay an extra 50 cents.

• Learn the built-in options with Windows XP Media Center for obtaining the music
• Learn Pro Show Gold
• Learn terminology about storyboards, timelines and transitions (motion effects)
• Photo enhancements
• Transitions effects
• Timing music to photo slides
• Create a 3 to 4 minute DVD and VCD to play on your TV containing music, photos and motion.
