Scanning Lab (2½ hours)

Prerequisites:

You should have a basic knowledge of Windows, the keyboard, the mouse, and some typing skills. You do not need to own scanning software or a scanner.

You must bring:

• Photos to scan (not slides or negatives)
• Additional disks if you want more than one CD or DVD. Only one will be provided.

Description:

Learn how to create a digital copy of a photograph using your photograph(s) on SeniorNet's scanners. The class starts with a presentation that covers scanning terminology and how to scan photos and documents. After the presentation you can scan as many photos as you want in the time available. The instructor will help you create a CD or DVD so that you can take your digital photos home.
