Layering for Poster Making (one 21/2-hour session)

Prerequisites:

 

Bring in your own photos on a CD or flash drive to make a poster of your own.

Fee:

$25 for one session

Description:

This seminar will cover the sizing, placement and framing of graphics as well as font manipulation. We will make our poster using free software available online. After the poster is made we can use it in our books, print or multi media programs.

Discuss principles of good design

Learn basic structures for placement and frames

Discuss various types of papers and card stock suitable for printing

Understand placement of fonts, including vertical and inverted fonts

Download and install free backgrounds, clipart and photos

Download and install a free scrapbooking program if you don't own MS Publisher
