What's Up with Office 2007 (one 2 1/2hour sessions)

Prerequisites:

This seminar is for students who want to experience Office 2007. You must have basic computer skills including knowledge of the keyboard and the mouse, opening and closing windows. It is assumed the participants have had some experience with a word processing application.  Typing skill is not required

Description::

“Microsoft issued a new edition of the Office suite of programs in 2007, which include the popular Word, Power Point, and Excel programs.   One feature of this edition was a new method of using the programs, called the “Ribbon”.   Using Word 2007 for demonstration, the seminar will describe and students will practice using the Ribbon, learning how it differs from previous versions, why it is easier to use and trying out many of the new features available.

This is NOT a beginner's class on the basics of the computer.
