Upload a You Tube Movie, Create, and Link (2 1/2 hour lecture)

Prerequisites: Know how to surf the web, use the internet explorer, have a digital camera, iPhone, web cam or camcorder. Anything that can take a little movie. You Tube accepts .avi and .mov files. Both are common to digital cameras.

Description: This class is hands-on.

Everybody likes to display and show off their creations. There are several sites that will host your movies for all to enjoy without ads and irritating messages. Whether you want to keep your movies private or simply share them they need to look their best. Learn the ins- and outs of You Tube movie files.

 

We are going to get a You Tube account, upload your movie and link it to several other sites. Don't know how to make a movie? Watch the following tutorial on You Tube. Just click. He will show you how to take a movie with your camera.

Please bring a movie on a flash drive, camera or a CD that you want to display on the web. We will make a You Tube movie and post online and/or a Google web site.
